![]() We arrived in Kingston around 8 pm and anchored for the night before heading into the Marina this morning. We were able to catch up on some small projects that we had planned to work on during the trip. Adam was able to use the dock for his dinghy sailing project with the help of the portable work bench that Nikki's dad made for him (thanks dad!). So if all goes well the Tasha Yar will be able to sail us to safety if the Zenobia sinks or if we decide that we just don't want to row to shore... ![]() Here is shot of Adam as we are surfing down the waves to Kingston. We sailed over night and had been going for about 25 hours straight. We had two hour shifts and made it through the night and nearly a second day. You can see the radar arch (thanks to Tim!) with the wind generator and radar mounted on either pole and the solar panels in between. Well, we're off! After a lot of work we are finally underway and on our way to Kingston. As you can see from the state of the cabin when we left the dock, there is still so much to do but we are hoping to get everything organized and put in its place while we are on the move. We are hoping to have a spot to sit down the the next couple of days.
Well, we're still here. It's be a hard couple of days with lots of setbacks and problems but we think that we will be ready to leave Bowmanville on July 6th. Look out lake Ontario here we come . . .
